Who we are
About Trade Safety Docs
Practical safety paperwork for people who would rather be on the tools.
Trade Safety Docs is a small UK business based in Erith, Kent. We write the health and safety paperwork that small construction firms and tradespeople are asked for before they can start on site: RAMS, method statements, construction phase plans, COSHH assessments, policies and toolbox talks. Our free guides explain what each document is for, so you can write your own if you prefer.
How we work
- Every document is written from the details of your job, not copied from another site.
- We use plain English your crew will actually read.
- We write from the regulations and HSE guidance, and list our sources on every guide.
- Guides are reviewed when the law or guidance changes, and each shows the date it was last checked.
- If a site manager asks for changes, we make them.
Our main sources
- The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
- Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
- The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002
- The Work at Height Regulations 2005
- HSE: Managing risks and risk assessment at work
What we won't do
- We don't visit sites or carry out inspections, surveys or fire risk assessments of buildings.
- We don't take over your legal duties. You remain responsible for checking documents against the site and briefing your team.
- We don't work on asbestos removal, demolition or confined spaces without a separate quote and specialist input.
